BSF are invited form male/female indian citizens for appointments on combatised posts of assistant sub inspector (stenographer) and head constable(ministerial) in border security force, ministry of home affairs, government of india in the pay scale (pre-Revised) as mentioned against each post plus DA and other Allowance as admissible to the member of the force from time to time as well as accommodation, uniform, LTC and Medical Facilities etc. The Posts are Temporary but likely to become permanent.

BSF Recruitment 2016-17
Educational Qualification: Aspirants interested in BSF ASI Recruitment 2017 should have 12th class pass and shorthand speed upto 80 words per minute in English or Hindi for 10 minutes
Aspirants who decided to apply for BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2016 should have 12th pass with 35 wpm speed in English and 30 wpm in Hindi.
Age Limit: Lower and upper age limit is 18 – 25 years applicable as on 1st January 2017.
Selection Process: Authority decided to release BSF Admit Card 2017 to conduct written test and skill test.
